Problem: You may encounter an issue where the Random Flight Database software fails to open properly or freezes during launch. This issue can be caused by corrupted configuration files.

Solution: To resolve this issue, please follow the steps below:

  1. Access the Program Installation Folder:

    • Locate the folder where Random Flight Database is installed on your computer.
    • By default, this folder is usually found in C:\Program Files\Random Flight Database or a similar location depending on your installation.
  2. Delete the Configuration Files:

    • In the installation folder, look for the files named zoom.ini and pos.ini.
    • Delete both of these files.
  3. Restart the Program:

    • After deleting the files, try relaunching Random Flight Database.
    • The program should now open correctly.

Note: Deleting these files will not remove your data or personal settings, but it will reset certain aspects of the software's configuration, which can resolve opening issues.

If the problem persists after following these steps, please contact technical support for further assistance.
